How to remove Samsung Pay from your Home Screen

Some Samsung mobile users may notice that Samsung Pay app has taken over the bottom of their home screens. When this happens, Samsung Pay will display a transparent slide-menu on the bottom of the home screen that will open the Samsung Pay app when swiped.

The Samsung Pay swipe-menu can be annoying for many Samsung mobile phone users as it can take up space and get in the way. It also looks out of place to many Samsung mobile users.

Luckily, there is a way to remove the Samsung Pay menu from your home screen but you may need to uninstall the Samsung Pay app or use the “force stop” option.

Follow these steps to remove Samsung Pay from your home screen:

1. 1. To uninstall Samsung Pay locate the app in the app menu.

1. Tap and hold the app until a menu that says Select items, Add to Home, Uninstall, and App info appears.
2. Tap Uninstall to remove the app from your device.

Force stop Samsung Pay:

1. 1. To force stop Samsung Pay locate the app in the app menu.
   2. Tap and hold the app until a menu that says Select items, Add to Home, Uninstall, and App info appears.

1. Tap App info and then tap the Force stop button.

Both of these options will help you remove the Samsung Pay menu from your phone’s home screen. We have tested out several other options but found them to be obsolete or temporary.
