Manus Removes Customer Support From Its App

Manus has removed the working customer support route from its app at a time when affected customers are being told to prepare for account deletion, website downtime, data restoration, and refunds.

manus get help link removed

As of August 15, the Get Help link inside an affected Manus account no longer opens the customer support system that was previously available there. Instead, the link points to https://www.facebook.com/tr/, which opens a blank page and provides no way to contact Manus. In addition, it no longer opens a new browser window, it directs the current page you are on to the Facebook link.

manus support gone

The URL is not a Manus website or a Facebook customer support page. The facebook.com/tr endpoint is used by Meta’s tracking infrastructure, including Meta Pixel requests used to record website activity. Opening the bare URL produces no usable webpage at all.

There has been no explanation inside Manus for why a customer clicking Get Help is now being sent to a Meta tracking endpoint instead of support.

Manus Get Help No Longer Opens Customer Support

The Get Help option previously provided a direct route into the Manus support system, where customers could open conversations about billing, credits, refunds, failed tasks, account problems, and other issues. Botcrawl has used that support system repeatedly while investigating Manus and documenting problems with the service.

That route is now gone in the affected account tested by Botcrawl. Clicking Get Help immediately leaves Manus and opens facebook.com/tr/. There is no support form, no chatbot, no ticket system, no contact information, and nothing identifying the page as a place where a Manus customer can get help.

The change is especially strange because Manus is in the middle of separating from Meta. The company is currently preparing to delete affected customer data as part of that separation, yet its Get Help link is now pointing directly to an endpoint belonging to Meta.

There is not enough information to determine why Manus changed the link. What can be verified is that the customer support route previously available through Get Help no longer reaches Manus support, and the replacement URL serves no support function.

Manus Is Removing Support Access During Its Biggest Customer Disruption

The timing could hardly be worse. Manus is already warning affected customers that major account and service changes are coming on August 23 as the company returns to independent operation.

As Botcrawl reported in Manus Shutdown Will Take Customer Websites and Apps Offline, affected users are being told to back up their data before 7:59 a.m. SGT on August 23. Manus will then begin deleting specified account data, task data, generated artifacts, connector authorizations, and other information. Affected users will temporarily lose access to Manus, while websites and services that depend on Manus can remain unavailable until their owners restore the required data.

Manus itself says customers may need help during that process. Its current transition notice tells affected users to contact customer service if they have questions, and the company’s Help Center still publishes support@manus.im while directing customers to a support tool on the Help Center.

That makes the broken Get Help route even harder to explain. Manus is telling customers that support will be available throughout a complicated backup, deletion, refund, and restoration process while removing the direct support path from the product those customers are actually using.

The shutdown also creates exactly the kinds of problems that can require immediate support. Customers may need help accessing backups, recovering accounts, restoring projects, resolving refunds, reconnecting services, or bringing Manus-dependent websites back online. Sending those customers to a blank Meta tracking endpoint when they click Get Help is not a minor interface problem.

Manus Support Was Already a Problem

Working customer support has already been one of Manus’s biggest problems. Botcrawl has previously documented Manus refund problems, including cases where support said refunds were being processed or completed without the promised money or credits actually appearing.

More recent support conversations have followed the same pattern. In one case involving credits used during Manus’s current free access promotion, an AI support agent claimed 35,540 credits had been restored to an account. After the account was checked and the claim was challenged, Manus admitted that only 114 credits had actually been returned. Another representative later claimed the refund had been completed again before closing the support conversation while the missing credits still had not been restored.

That support system was already unreliable, but at least customers could reach it. The current Get Help link removes even that direct route from the Manus app.

Manus has not announced that customer support is shutting down completely. Its public Help Center remains online and still lists an email address and web-based support option. But inside the Manus product itself, the direct Get Help route that previously opened customer support no longer does so.

Instead, it sends customers to a blank Meta tracking endpoint.

That is an extraordinary change to make while Manus is simultaneously telling affected customers to trust the company with a forced backup and restoration process involving their accounts, projects, websites, data, and money.

Customers who need help should currently bypass the broken Get Help link and use the Manus Help Center or published support email directly. Anyone affected by the upcoming Manus shutdown should also make sure important data is backed up before August 23 rather than waiting until something goes wrong and discovering that the support link inside the app no longer reaches support.
