Will Mr. Beast give you $1,000 to visit his website?

Beware of a new scam circulating on YouTube that claims popular YouTuber and philanthropist Mr. Beast (Jimmy Donaldson) is giving away $1,000 to subscribers who visit a website. The scammers use fake Mr. Beast YouTube channels and run advertisements to trick their victims into believing the $1,000 Mr. Beast giveaway is legitimate.

When the user clicks the claim reward button they are taken to a new website that says “in order to redeem your 1000$ you need to complete 3 free offers below. After that you will be redirected to claim your 1000$.”

The surveys basically never end and send you on a loop, the giveaways ask for personal information and provide you with nothing else, and other offers are essentially the same. This is a scam that is in no way affiliated with Mr. Beast and you will not get $1,000 for visiting a website.

What is the purpose of this scam?

The purpose of this scam is to get users to click advertisements, trick them into installing potentially malicious software, and phish user-submitted information such as full names, home addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses from fraudulent surveys and giveaways. Information collected by the scammers is used for unknown purposes; However, victims of scams like this typically experience more junk mail at home, spam in their inboxes, and unwanted phone calls from telemarketers and scammers.
