Blacklist@cock.li
Learn what Blacklist@cock.li ransomware is and how to remove the computer virus from your computer and decrypt or recover personal files for free.
What is Blacklist@cock.li?
Blacklist@cock.li is an email address used by a variant of Dharma ransomware. When this ransomware infects a computer it will encrypt files using the AES-256 encryption algorithm and affix the .vanss file extension to the end of the filenames. The ransomware infection will then drop two files named FILES ENCRYPTED.txt and Info.hta on the desktop and every drive’s root folder
The files dropped by the ransomware act as a ransom note. They explain what happened to the files and how to make a payment. Here’s an example of what is written in the files:
All your files have been encrypted!
All your files have been encrypted due to a security problem with your PC. If you want to restore them, write us to the email Blacklist@cock.li
Write this ID in the title of your message [removed]
In case of no answer in 24 hours write us to these emails: Blacklist@cock.li
You have to pay for decryption in Bitcoins. The price depends on how fast you write to us. After payment we will send you the decryption tool that will decrypt all your files.
This ransomware wants you to write an email to Blacklist@cock.li with your ID in the title of the message. The instructions insist that you buy Bitcoins and send them a payment in order to have your files recovered. The ransom note claims that you have 24 hours to do this and that the price depends on how fast you write to them.
Please be aware that paying a ransom or contacting the people responsible for this ransomware will not guarantee that you will recover your files or that the infection is removed and will not appear again in the future.
