The Task View button is a cool new feature on Windows 10. Task View allows you to create new Windows 10 desktops. This means that you can have one desktop setup with open apps and a new desktop setup with other work. It allows you to easily multitask and keep your work (or whatever you’re doing) organized.
This guide will help you create a “new desktop” on Windows 10 by using the Windows 10 Task View button located on the task bar.
How to create a New Desktop on Windows 10
1. Make sure the Task View button is visible on your task bar. The Task View button is a small icon near the far end of the task bar. If your Task View button is not on, right click the task bar and click “Show Task View button.”

2. Click the Task View button
on your task bar and select “New desktop.”
You can navigate between your new Windows 10 desktop and your original desktop by clicking the Task View button. To delete a desktop click the Task View button, hover over the Windows 10 desktop you want to delete, and click the X.
