How to remove Roblox.com ads (Virus Removal Guide)

You may notice aggressive and/or deceptive Roblox.com ads while browsing the web. They can appear as pop-up ads and pop-under ads that open in a new browser window or tab. Roblox.com ads are not always the result of an adware infection, although they may be. They can be caused by an ad-network on a website you are visiting. Some websites implement malicious and/or aggressive advertising networks to show advertisements and this may just be the case of unwanted Roblox.com ads.

The Roblox.com website and/or the services offered by the website and their affiliates may not be malicious or unethical; However, Roblox.com is consciously financing a malicious advertising network to promote themselves and malicious advertising networks utilize unethical advertisements and show advertisements that promote malware, adware, spyware, and other serious computer threats. This means that Roblox.com is supporting malware and the spread of malware by deliberately paying its distributor.

Advertisements displayed by malicious advertising networks are typically aggressive and deceptive. Malicious ad-networks show advertisements including pop-up ads, pop-under ads, and in-text ads that legitimate ad-networks such as Google AdSense don’t. Some advertisements are designed to trick people into downloading malware. For example, they flaunt updates and media players that don’t exist and instead download malware when clicked.

Some Roblox.com advertisements are very aggressive, they may appear in a new browser tab while the user browses the web and/or force users to view them by disallowing them to close the browser window.

Malicious advertising networks are usually used by websites that contain content legitimate ad-networks recognize as prohibited such as websites that contain video streams, torrents, and adult content. These websites use the networks to generate revenue although the networks may be malicious and penalize them in some way.
