How to remove MediaNewPage search and extension
MediaNewPage is an internet browser extension and a website that changes your new tab page and search settings. The MediaNewPage website uses a native internet browser extension such as Search and Newtab by MediaNewPage to replace your homepage, new tab page, and search settings in order to cause your browser to redirect to search.medianewpagesearch.com and search.yahoo.com when you open a new browser window, open a new tab, and search the web using the address bar.
Once the cooperating MediaNewPage extension is installed it will immediately replace your homepage and your search settings with http://search.medianewpagesearch.com/. When you search the web you will redirect to the website and when you open a new browser tab you will be directed to search.yahoo.com.
One of the biggest concerns with the extension is that it is often advertised on websites that display malicious advertisements and host malware. If you found the MediaNewPage extension attached to your browser or have visited a website that displays MediaNewPage advertisements, it is likely that your computer has been introduced to other threats (such as search Movies) that should be removed.
