Memberacy is a browser extension that modifies your internet browser settings in order to make your browser redirect to its own website when you search the web. The memberacy extension will replace your search settings with a new website which will cause your browser to redirect to http://memberacy.com/?q=[keyword] and then to https://search.yahoo.com/. The publisher essentially generates revenue from advertisements and sponsored search results.
When you first search the web, you will redirect to memberacy.com and the webpage will show a notification message that says “Please confirm you are human.” If you click the OK button, it will direct you to another site (currently search.yahoo.com).
