How to close your PayPal account (Instuctions)

It is easy to close (deactivate or delete) your PayPal account; However, if you have pending transactions or open cases you will not be able to close your PayPal account. Here are instructions to close your PayPal account:

1. Sign into your PayPal account.

2. Click Profile at the top and select Profile and Settings.

3. Select My settings from the menu on the left and click Close account in the Account type section.
