How to remove Fast search World (Virus Removal Guide)

What is Fast search World?

Fast search World is a potentially unwanted program (PUP) that takes control of your browser settings and injects the web pages you visit with advertisements. Once your computer is infected with the Fast search World virus you will notice that your homepage, the page you see when opening a new tab, and default search settings are askew. This is because the Fast search World program hijacks your browser settings and replaces the pages you see when launching your browser or searching the web.

Fast search World distribution procedures

Fast search World is usually distributed in similar ways that most unwanted programs and browser attachments are distributed. The threat can be spread by free downloadable content such as freeware and torrent files. It may also be advertised as something it is not in order to trick victims into installing it and other potentially unwanted programs and malware.

The program is usually advertised across various websites and by rogue download managers. It is typically advertised on websites that contain prohibited content such as video streaming websites, suspicious program download websites, and pornography websites. In addition, these websites will also advertise malware and other threats. The advertisements that promote this PUP may also promote other threats if clicked.
