It should be noted that Mobigame is also the name of a legitimate game developer for iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, PSP, and other digital platforms and the developer is not affiliated with MogiGame malware.

  • Browser redirects
  • Negative computer performance and functionality

Thank you for the location of the mobigame uninstaller. I had tried deleting the mobigame folder but kept getting a connot complete file in use message, even after reboot. The uninstaller worked great and I was able to delete the folder and the remaining files.

i couldn’t detach into tablet mode on my windows computer. i downloaded ccleaner and let it do the free scan. then in the ccleaner application if you scroll down to “tools” with the little wrench it opens to all the apps on your device. i scrolled down to m for mobiplayer and mobigame and deleted mobiplayer. mobigame you have to uninstall but it’s easy to figure out. so exciting and satisfying when the error message stops popping up and you can detach into tablet mode. ty ccleaner

i mean it worked for me thanks

    • actually, despite it getting deleted. it has a command to make it so it reinstalls itself. i know this from investigating around the app when I deleted the app, it will show the why did you uninstall tab, but doesn’t remove it. you can check it by deleting the app from the add&remove programs setting. after you delete, just refresh the setting and mobigames should still be there. I WOULD add video proof, but i already removed mine

Hello! I read this article because I have the MobiGame virus on my Windows 10, Everything freezes and when I go to chrome sometimes it doesn’t respond or some websites take too long to respond. I Installed Malwarebytes and CCleaner but forgot HitMan Pro, I do everything as possible but I think viruses will keep popping up if I don’t get rid of the hidden files from MobiGames. I also installed SpyHunter to see if it did something. But I still don’t know what to do. Some games take long time to respond or the tabs will just close by themselves since I was trying to install a free version of Minecraft but ended up with an unwanted website. 2 months back I was installing a game called Yandere Simulator, But I was supposed to install it from the creator’s website. It got me with MobiGames again. I’ll see what I can do. But thanks!

I had the same problem, then I found out in the article from Tech Advisor UK about Download Process Explorer. The same article has steps on how to use it, locate the file, and delete it. I hope it works.
