Kickass.so down due to domain name seizure

Several reports have confirmed that the popular torrent website Kickass.so is down due to a domain name seizure. Internet users have gone to the internet complaining that Kickass.so is down. Various reports have confirmed that the Kickass.so domain has been seized by local police officers, the way thepiratebay and other torrent websites have been seized in the past.

When attempting to land on Kickass.so, the domain name shows no life. However, several countries (including Japan) have suggested that Kickass.so is not down for them and that they have been able to access the website.

Update: Kickass.so has converted to Kickass.to.
