German artist Babis Pangiotidis created an elaborate model of a rocking horse known as “Hedonism(y) Trojaner” with skin made of thousands of forgotten keyboard keys.
Babis Pangiotidis created Hedonism Trojaner from resin, recycled computer keys (shades ivory white to yellow-nicotine), and computer cables. The horse represents the hedonistic online actions of the internet and today’s society. The German artist believes that the “commercialized” internet serves as a Trojan virus of sorts, fulfilling our desire for information without question and voluntarily and involuntarily infecting nearly all aspects of modern life.
