What is GreenPlayer?
GreenPlayer (also searched for as the GreenPlayer virus or Green Player) is declared as adware and a potentially unwanted program (or PUP) by reputable Antivirus and Anti-Malware programs such as Malwarebytes, HitmanPro, and many others. GreenPlayer adware is primarily used to produce targeted style pop-up and in-text advertisements on the web and Windows desktop. Ads generated by GreenPlayer will usually say “Ads by GreenPlayer” or “Brought by GreenPlayer” on them. Advertisements served by GreenPlayer adware range from harmless coupons and deals to malicious programs and exploit kits that introduce severe forms of malware to your computer.
