Your information can be sold or shared with a third-party. The MYWOT extension was recently caught selling identities and browsing habits and was removed from the Chrome and Firefox repository and they’re a well known entity.

Another issue with this extension is that it is advertised by malicious advertising networks that promote malware, rogue programs, adware, spyware, and other threats. 7. When the HitmanPro scan is complete click the Next button.

8. To activate the free version of HitmanPro: enter your email address twice and click the Activate button.

9. Click the Reboot button.
