Facebook is currently down for many users

If you try to visit Facebook.com you will land on a Facebook error page that says “Sorry, something went wrong.” This means that Facebook is currently down in your area. Facebook is only down in few regions globally.

The Facebook error has been fixed in a few areas, therefor this Facebook error is not expected to last an extended amount of time.
Facebook mobile apps are not affected.
