The Adserverplus virus is a term for malware categorized as adware, that utilizes browser hijackers in order to display Adserverplus popup advertisements.Adserverplus installs as a Browser Helper Object (BHO) on separate internet browsers and displays advertisement for computer users connected to the internet. Adserverplus adware can easily be identified through the popup advertisements which display the name “Adserverplus”. Adserverplus generates random advertisements based on user information stored in active internet browsers. Adserverplus is also known to slow PC processes down and has been documented as the reason for various system crashes (blue screen).
