What is SaleItCoupon?

SaleItCoupon (Sale It Coupon) is the title of a common adware threat that has been flagged by numerous analysts for suspicious behavior. Many consider this potentially unwanted program (PUP) a nuisance because it accesses browser user information and generates advertisements to the user based off their browser activities and history.

If you find potential SaleItCoupon malware on your computer and attached to affected internet browsers as an add-on and extension it is likely that other programs and browser attachments are also present and will need to be removed. This adware often bundles with third-party items that will install alongside this adware. In some scenarios, third-party items will have permissions set allowing them to change browser settings, such as the homepage and internet search engine. This can cause unwanted browser redirects and other symptoms outside of the generic advertisements generated by the initial adware.
