What is Searchbrowsing.com?
SearchBrowsing.com com is a search engine owned and operated by Search Core Systems, headquartered in Montreal, QC, Canada. Search Browsing is often utilized along side third party malware (adware and spyware), viruses, and Trojans orchestrated by cyber criminals in order scam money through PPC (pay per click) results among other online criminal activities. Searchbrowsing.com is often referred to as a browser hijacker though Searchbrowsing.com itself is not entirely malicious, nor does Searchbrowsing.com contain malware but if your internet browser settings have changed without your consent to Searchbrowsing.com or related websites you are most likely infected by third party malware, viruses, and Trojans.
Victims usually notice they are infected by third party infections when their home page redirects to Searchbrowsing.com upon start up and internet searches and URLs inputted into the browser address bar redirect to Searchbrowsing.com. 1. How to remove Searchbrowsing.com as your Home Page
Google Chrome
1. Click the 3 bar or wrench settings icon and select Settings.
2. In the Search section select the Manage search engines… button.
3. Remove Searchbrowsing.com or related search engines by selecting the X next to the URL upon clicking on and highlighting the website(s).
Mozilla Firefox
1. Click the small search arrow or magnify glass near the search bar at the top of the internet browser.
2. Select Manage search engines…
3. Highlight Searchbrowsing.com or related search engines and click remove.
Microsoft Internet Explorer
1. Click Tools and select Manage add-ons.
2. Navigate to the Search Providers list.
3. Search for Searchbrowsing.com or related search engines and click the Remove button (at least disable).
2. How to stop your browser from redirecting to Searchbrowsing.com
Google Chrome
1. Click the 3 bar options icon or wrench icon and click Settings.
2. Under the “On start up” section click the Set pages link.
3. RemoveSearchbrowsing.com websites and any suspicious website by clicking the X.
Mozilla Firefox
1. Click the Firefox Tools menu and select Options.
2. In the General tab where it says “Home page” in the Start Up section remove Searchbrowsing.com or similar URLs and type your preferred webpage (google.com, bing.com, botcrawl.com).
Microsoft Internet Explorer
1. Click Tools and select Internet Options.

I’ll look into ccleaner… I’ve read where others have deleted their browser and reinstalled and it comes back… may try doing that as well…
If Firefox or IE is still affected after completely removing and re-installing the browsers, there is usually a program running in the background. Search for anything suspicious in your task manager (processes tab) and using Window’s Uninstaller. If any suspicious process and program is located, kill the process and uninstall the program.
If you do chose to use CCleaner, along with using the Cleaners, navigate to Tools > Startup > and examine the programs set to run in every tab (Windows, IE, Firefox, Tasks, Etc). If anything suspicious is located, disable and delete it.
Sean any more ideas on getting rid of this annoying redirect thing… I have it when I use firefox… It does not show as my default homepage… google still does… had it for a while longer than any restore point. thanks malwarebytes and avg do not fix the problem!
I can quickly recommend to save your Firefox settings, uninstall Firefox, reboot your system, and install (re-install) Firefox once again. This is usually an easy and fast solution.
Also, a suggestion would be to run several scans using a program such as the free version of CCleaner by Piriform (Non affiliate link: https://piriform.com) to remove any unnecessary additions to your browser and system.

I’ve been up all night researching & struggling with the Searchbrowsing issue on my laptop. Nothing seemed to be effective & I nearly purchased a robust anti-malware product that I don’t really have the $$ for. I stumbled-upon your above post suggesting CCleaner by Piriform. I downloaded the free version & ran a few scans. One reboot later & the Searchbrowsing piece was gone! An added bonus of running the few scans is that my laptop is faster & more responsive.
Again – thank you. It’s such a relief to have this behind me now.

I downloaded the Malwarebytes Anti-malware and made a full scan of my laptop files and even added my Kingston.
After that I cleared all the malware found in my laptop (150!) and deleted them. Then I followed all the instructions regarding Google Chrome to eliminate Searchbrowsing but so far I haven’t been successful and it’s driving me NUTS!!!
I already looked it within my installed program but really don’t know what else to do.
Do you happen to have any more suggestions I can use? I’m even planning on uninstalling and installing back again all the windows software. Do you think that’ll actually help?
I will very much appreciate any other help/advice you may have.

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble. Opposed to installing a fresh Windows system, I would suggest to attempt to perform a system restore or even recovery.
Also, if your browsers are primarily infected, you can uninstall them and re-install them again to technically restore the browser to default.
You can even try to dump all your associated browser data, such as cache, cookies, etc.
