How to block Google Analytics referral traffic

There are many reasons why webmasters, website owners, and marketeers would want to block Google Analytics referral traffic. Some people want to block Google Analytics referral traffic because the referral traffic might be coming from a referrer spam URL and traffic bot such as semalt.com. Others might want to block Google Analytics referral traffic to view their website’s data better. If a specific URL visits a certain website too often it can mess with a website’s metric data including the bounce rate. If a URL only lands on a single landing page and leaves from the single page this can cause the bounce rate to be unbalanced.
